To ensure that the members of PTCCC will understand the blessing and power of prayer in the work and ministry of the church in this world. Keeping the church family focused through prayere that the church has awareness that encourages meaningful, appropriate, focused and fitting times of relationship building. This Ministry is responsible for: The Prayer Team, Prayer Conference, A Class on Understanding Prayer, Reception Desk Volunteers, Support for Volunteers, Connections.
News
Hospital Visits If you, a friend or family member is admitted to a hospital due to illness, surgery or other reasons, please call us. Our visitation team includes ministers and volunteers who will visit you and pray with you. If necessary, meals can be provided for a limited time during your recovery. You may call the church office to request a visit or to speak with one of our ministers. If you call after hours, the phone message will provide the cell number of a minister on call. In case of a life-threatening emergency, always call 911 first.
Counseling When help is needed to understand certain seasons and relationships in our lives, we offer access to trained and qualified Christian minister and professional counselors.
Appointments Our various ministers are available to meet and pray with you. Similarly, our counseling office accepts appointments for a free initial consultation and limited follow-up visits. For long-term needs we'll refer you to our Connections Christian Counseloring, Their office is located on our church campus. We request that you schedule your appointment with one of our ministers in advance by contacting our church office. Urgent Situations In case of an urgent need, you may contact the church office and ask to speak to the minister on call.
Funerals & Grief At PTC Christian Church, we're here to share in the journey with families who have lost a loved one. To honor the life of a loved one, we provide funeral or memorial services that communicate the hope all can have through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Services can be held in our Worship Center with your chosen funeral home or at another location in the area. Please contact us immediately so a minister can meet with you and your family in order to provide the care, encouragement and support. Grief recovery support is offered to meet the spiritual, emotional and relational needs of people who have lost their loved one.

Prayer Warriors Thursdays at 7:30 pm/Intercessory Prayer Prayer is a fundamental part of our relationship with the Lord. This team meets weekly to pray for guidance for our church members, leaders, and specifically for each member who requests prayer for individual needs. Anyone is welcome to join in this vital ministry of our church. Contact Bill and Sherry Mitcham 770 461-2382.
Prayer Requests You can submit prayer requests on the bulletin inserts or by contacting our church office. If you’d like to receive our prayer requests via email, send your email address to info@ptcchristian.com and type “Prayer Chain” in the subject area.
Friends 2 Family We can all use a good neighbor to call on in times of need. Our church members serve each other during those times. If you are a member and can provide this type of on-call support, please contact Theresa Howard at our church office. Let us know if you can be called on to provide meals to members in your area of if you know of someone that needs a good neighbor from our church. If you are expecting a new baby, suffering from an illness or injury, we'd love to schedule a time to bring meals to you and your family. Our church is here to help each other. Please let us know if you need a good neighbor support by contacting our church office and speaking with one of our ministers about your needs.
